A battery storage system that plays a crucial role in support services for Transmission System Operators (TSOs) and imbalance services on the energy market. The demand for stable, rapid response required a solution with two distinct batteries, each with its own inverter and transformer station. Redundant components were incorporated to ensure a high level of reliability.
The Site
The system was strategically installed during winter to be ready for operation in the new year β which posed unique challenges that required careful consideration of the civil-works solutions.
