Volthein and CATL sign supply agreement, deepening a long-term partnership.
A cooperation that began in 2025 now has a firm framework for 2027.
Volthein, a BESS integrator active across Europe, and CATL, one of the world’s leading battery manufacturers, have signed a supply agreement covering energy storage systems for Volthein’s projects in 2027.
Prague, November 3, 2026: Volthein, a battery energy storage system (BESS) integrator active in Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic and other EU countries, is strengthening its long-standing relationship with CATL, one of the world’s leading battery manufacturers. The two companies have worked together since 2025, and the newly signed supply agreement marks the next step in a partnership built gradually and with a long-term view.
A framework built for the long term
Under the agreement, CATL will supply energy storage systems for battery storage projects delivered by Volthein across its European markets. The focus is on 2027 and the projects currently in preparation.
For Volthein’s clients, this means supply certainty and proven tier-1 technology. It also gives them a clear basis for planning projects from permitting through to commissioning.
Consistent in our direction
From the beginning, Volthein has built its business on a simple principle: long-term partners, technology that performs over the full project lifetime, and local integration know-how that turns hardware into working assets on the grid. The partnership with CATL is a natural continuation of that approach.
“When our clients plan a project, they need certainty that the technology will arrive on time, perform as designed and last the full project lifetime. The agreement with CATL gives them that certainty for 2027. For us, it confirms that long-term partnerships are the right way forward, and the ones who benefit most are our clients’ projects.”
